I'm planning a snorkeling trip next Wednesday at Balandra Beach and I'm concerned about the impact of hurricane Simon, which is far away. I've heard that BCS, especially La Paz, might be affected.

Balandra is not a good beach to snorkel at.

If you're looking for a snorkeling experience, consider Cabo Pulmo. While it's not the only option, a full tour around Balandra's various spots can provide a decent snorkeling experience.
