The Library Bar

The Library Bar in the Warwick Melrose Hotel on Oak Lawn is a great spot for a 30th birthday celebration. They're open till 2 am on Friday and Sat and they have live music almost everyday, with a variety of piano, jazz, and old school vibe music throughout the week. It's a little pricey because you'll probably have to pay for the valet/parking and the drinks are kind of pricey, but you only turn 30 once!

Park Cities Auto Care

Located on Lemmon Ave, Park Cities Auto Care is a good option for affordable auto repairs in the NE Dallas area. The person who recommended it said it's 'not too far from Lovers/Inwood', making it convenient for those living in the area. While there's no specific price mentioned, the reviewer implies that the prices are reasonable, which is a big draw for those looking for an affordable mechanic.

Barnes & Noble

Barnes & Noble is a great place to take care of business when you're out and about in Dallas. As a former Uber driver noted, bookstores like Barnes & Noble and Half Price Books are a reliable option, and they offer a quiet and relatively private space to do your thing.
