What's happening to Kukulcan Plaza?

I was at Kukulcan Plaza last week and noticed that all the restaurants listed as open in January are actually closed. I'm also wondering if the Soriana Super grocery store will still be open in December.

The area has become extremely quiet since my visit last week. Only a few stores remain open, including the Soriana and Oakley. The mall's decline began after the construction of La Isla, but the new bridge project has accelerated its downfall. In contrast, Fish Fritanga across the street is still thriving and welcoming customers.

I appreciate the halal restaurant's falafel, which is perfectly seasoned. I hope the nearby grocery store stays open through December.

I think the Soriana will continue to operate in a couple of months. If it closes, you can opt for Uber Eats from the Chedraui Selecto or Costco, which adds only a couple of dollars to the order and saves a significant amount of time.
