A neighbour's cat with an AirTag keeps trying to attack my cats and is damaging my house. I have a chronic illness and can't go knocking on doors to find the owner.

You can obtain a cat trap from the Calgary Humane Society. Catch the cat and then take it to the humane society, where the owner will be required to pay a fee to retrieve their pet.

In Calgary, domestic cats are not permitted to roam outdoors. If you've found a stray cat, you can contact the city's animal control service to arrange for its capture.

In my experience, the city's animal control service typically won't intervene in stray cat situations. However, you can rent traps and then take the cat to the Calgary Humane Society.

It seems that the only available option for capturing stray cats in Calgary is to use traps provided by the Calgary Humane Society.

Consider attaching a note to the cat's collar to inform the owner about the situation. This way, they'll be aware of what's happening to their pet.

If the city's cat trapping program is no longer operational, you can purchase a trap at Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops on Macleod Trail. Once you've caught the cat, take it to the Calgary Humane Society. Be prepared for the owner to face a substantial fine for not reclaiming their pet.

If the cat has an AirTag, you can use your phone's Find My app to scan the tag and potentially obtain the owner's contact information. This method worked for me once when I found a lost dog, but it's worth trying in this situation as well.
