I've been prioritizing cleaner ingredients and a small 200g bag of organic walnuts is like $11 at Superstore, which I think is a bit steep.

If you're looking for bulk food options, consider visiting stores that cater to specific cultural markets. I've purchased walnuts at a store on 17th Avenue SW in Calgary, but I don't recall if the prices were competitive.

Kirkland at Costco has bigger quantities for less money, and some of the items are Canadian, so be sure to check the labels. Save-On Foods also has bulk bins for more variety than Costco.

If you're really concerned about chemicals being sprayed on the walnuts, you could just buy whole walnuts and crack them yourself.
