Can I Lyft to Sweetwater Creek State Park and get a ride back to Atlanta?

I'm visiting Atlanta for a week and I want to see some nature. I've heard great things about Sweetwater Creek State Park, but I'm worried that I'll be stranded there if I take an Uber or Lyft. It's about 25 minutes outside of Atlanta, but I'm not sure if it's a feasible option.

If you're having trouble getting a ride, it's a good idea to check the Uber app as well. I prefer to use both apps if wait times are long or a price seems unusually high.

There's an entrance to the visitor's center that serves as a drop-off and pick-up spot. Be prepared for a slightly longer wait to get a ride back to Atlanta, but you should be okay. The area is quite scenic.

It's not far from urban areas, with neighborhoods nearby. You'll need to pay a parking fee at the gate, but it's unclear how they'd handle ride-sharing situations. You can have your driver drop you off outside the gate and then walk about a mile to the trailhead.

They no longer check gates; instead, they provide a QR code to scan once you park. I'm confident you can drive in and around without paying.

As a driver, you shouldn't encounter any issues getting a ride back to Atlanta from this location.
