Parking fines in MBZ?

Parking fines in MBZ?

I live in a villa in Mohammed Bin Zayed City and I recently received a parking fine of AED 375 for parking outside my villa, which is not in a paid parking zone. I have a 24-hour parking permit for standard parking. What should I do?

It's been happening in other areas for a couple of months now. If you have a tawtheeq, you can contest the fine, but if not, then there's no chance.

Outside parking is not allowed. If you have a tenancy contract for your residency, you can challenge the fine. Otherwise, there's no way around it. It's always best to park inside the villa compound if possible, as they can't do anything about it.

Also, this is a Zone 30 issue.

It's a tough time, brother. The only way to avoid these fines is to have space inside the villa compound for parking. Unfortunately, it's not possible to get a tenancy contract without a villa.

In the Mohammed bin Zayed City, all zones are designated for resident parking. If you don't have a valid resident permit, you risk receiving a fine.
