Entering Abu Dhabi with a one-way ticket

Entering Abu Dhabi with a one-way ticket?

المواصلات منذ 3 يوم الإجابات: 4 •

I'm moving to Abu Dhabi with my partner in a month. She has a job and her company is sponsoring her visa, but I'm currently on a tourist visa. I've only bought a one-way ticket to Abu Dhabi because I'm hoping to find a job there.

You're likely to get refused boarding by the airline if you don't have an onward ticket. They're responsible for flying you back if immigration denies you entry.

If you get married, your partner could sponsor your visa.

It's best to get a return ticket for now, and then cancel it once you get your residency visa if you find a job.

It depends on your nationality - check if you're eligible for an on-arrival 90-day visa.
