Why do people in Orlando not know how to use the compactor in their luxury apartment complex?
I live in a 'luxury' apartment/condo complex where people seem to not know how to use the compactor, resulting in a pile-up of trash over the weekend. They pay almost $2k a month before fees but have no common sense.

I've seen firsthand the consequences of inadequate waste management at an apartment complex. The compactor was too small, and the management was reluctant to upgrade it. As a result, maintenance staff had to load an open-top dumpster truck with trash about twice a month. When the motor broke, the complex was left with a massive trash pile for weeks.

The problem of trash accumulation can create a domino effect, where one person's mess leads to another person's mess, and so on. This issue is not limited to any particular income level or property type, as I've seen it happen at low-income, middle-class, and luxury properties during my 20 years of experience in Property Management.
