I've always seen jokes about how people will go across the country, but refuse to go to Broward. I'm wondering what the serious reason behind this thought process is.

I live here and am pretty disconnected from the Miami/party/chic scene. I've noticed that every girls trip seems to end up on a yacht, and I'm curious about how it really works.
I'm looking for a new place to walk around Kendall, ideally a loop of 2-4 miles with some scenery. I'd like to park, start walking, and not have to retrace the same path.
I found a large seniorish stray dog, she ain’t chipped and I’ve spent the last week or so looking for a rescue, you’ve contacted about 15-20 rescues and the ones that did respond are full… I can’t keep the dog and I have 4 cats and 2 are allergic to dogs.. and their allergies are getting worse.
I see it from my office in downtown Miami and it looks really cool, but also a bit intimidating at night. I'm not sure what it's called or what's going on with it.
I run a small language school in Miami and it's nonstop. I've deleted and blocked numbers, marked as spam, but it's still happening.
I live in a high-rise building in Brickell, and a small dog is barking constantly day and night, with a double bark every hour. I've tried closing my balcony doors, but I can still hear it clearly. I'm looking for any advice on how to identify the dog's owner or resolve the issue.
I've seen a few drain flies in my apartment, mostly in the bathroom, and I'd like to get rid of them. I've been here for about a month and a half. Is the occasional drain fly normal in Miami, and are there any tips for getting rid of them or is it a seasonal thing?
I've been walking this loop around the Granada Golf Course in Coral Gables pretty regularly, and it's honestly become one of my go-to walks. It's about 3 miles / ~55 minutes, really easy, and the whole loop is just a nice way to get your steps in without feeling like you're walking the same neighborhood block over and over.
My aunt grew up in Miami FL in the 80s and remembers a restaurant called Raffaello's with a painting of a red fish eating another fish. The painting was realistic and primitive. I'm looking for a copy of this picture to surprise her.
I've been walking along the river walk and almost the entire thing looked like a big oil slick this week. It's super sad to see.
I've noticed that some businesses in Miami have only Spanish-speaking employees, which can be challenging for those who don't speak Spanish. I've heard that it's not uncommon for people to struggle to communicate when they don't speak the language. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
I'm having trouble meeting new people in Miami because I have Audio Processing Disorder (APD) and loud places like clubs and dance floors are overwhelming, but I've found pool halls to be a good middle ground.
