Penestanan is a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud. While it's a bit farther from the action, the area is remarkably safe and enjoyable. You can walk off your meals in the scenic surroundings, and the atmosphere is serene.

I've used the coworking space in Penestanan, and the location is quite convenient. Although it's not the most secluded spot, the area is generally quiet, and you can find even more peaceful spots in Ubud's ricefields.
