Why did the metro not stop at Berri Uqam station?

I was on the green line heading towards Honoré Beaugrand and the metro didn't stop at Berri Uqam, no announcement was made. Has anyone else experienced this before? Do you know why this happens?

I think it happens if there's a problem at that station that doesn't affect the rest of the line. Maybe they made an announcement that you didn't hear?

There's likely an emergency at a nearby metro station, which is why your train is stopping at the next station for safety precautions.

This has happened to me before, the station was too crowded to let us off

It's extremely rare for a metro to be too crowded to board, even during major events like the F1 weekend. What could be causing this unusual situation?

I've never experienced this, but it would really annoy me if I wasn't told anything, before, during, or after
