What's the most Wegmans-like grocery store in LA?

I'm moving my family of 5 to Los Angeles next year after living in upstate NY. I've shopped at Wegmans pretty much exclusively my whole life. The areas I'm looking to live (Fullerton, Pasadena, Long Beach) seem to have so many different grocery stores.

Unfortunately, there isn't a store like Super King or Northgate for produce in LA. However, you can still find some great options for fresh produce.

It's unlikely that any store will be able to replicate the exact experience of Wegmans.

The grocery store landscape in LA has changed significantly due to consolidation. Companies like Safeway, Lucky, Albertsons, and Vons are now under the same umbrella, and they almost merged with Kroger recently. This has led to a lack of decent grocery store chains in SoCal. Pavilions is essentially an overpriced version of Vons, while Lazy Acres is similar to Bristol Farms. When I'm out of town, I still stock up on Wegmans' stable goods. It's surprising how many stores offer good prices, service, and variety, but they could do more to improve.
