I'm flying from Minneapolis to Puerto Vallarta in December and then taking a separate domestic flight to Mexico City. I'm trying to figure out how much time I should leave between flights.

We are a family of four with kids aged 10 and 12, visiting Puerto Vallarta in February. We have 4 days in the Hotel Zone at Harbor 171 and 4 nights in a condo on Playa Esmeralda. We want to explore South Puerto Vallarta but realize there's nothing walkable from Playa Esmeralda. We're interested in street food, art, and culture in the Zona Romantica some days.
