If you don't change the contract type, you won't need to validate again. However, if you have an active 30-day ticket and buy a 90-day ticket, the 30-day ticket will not automatically activate.

You don't have to validate every time, but there's an exception for the subway - you're required to do so.

If you only take buses or trams, you need to validate only once. But if you frequently use the metro because you need to open the gate, it's considered a valid trip.

When I use the elevator, I don't need to use my card to open the gate, but I'm still wondering if I should validate it underground.
