Mexico City neighborhood: Vista Hermosa or Interlomas for safety and connectivity?

I'm trying to decide between Vista Hermosa and Interlomas for a family member's daily commute to Santa Fe. They have a single car and need to travel to Santa Fe every day. Which one would you recommend?

Vista Hermosa would be my choice if you can afford it. There's less traffic than from Interlomas. In the worst case, you can even walk to work.

Santa Fe is 12 km from Interlomas, while the other location is right next to Santa Fe.

Villas de the Mexico City highway is not a great place unless you have a car. There's only one bus stop nearby that leaves you at the Yaquí. From there, you can't walk to Santa Fe because the Volcanes neighborhood doesn't allow pedestrian passage. Sometimes the buses don't even stop there, and the area is quite safe but deserted. If someone is going to Santa Fe, you can drop them off at the Yaquí and they can take the camioneta from there.

The other location is michísimo closer to Santa Fe. There's no comparison, and it's a much more convenient option. In fact, it's about a 10-minute drive from the location to Santa Fe.
