I'm planning a first long stay in Puerto Morelos with my girlfriend. We have a small budget and want to know the best way to get to town from Cancun Airport, as well as recommendations for snorkeling, local restaurants, and a cenote.

The airport taxi fare is quite steep, coming in at $40. While it's an available option, it's not the most budget-friendly choice.
