I'm looking for some reliable places to eat in Bangkok, especially in areas that didn't flood during the recent heavy rainfall. I've been to some of the street food stalls in Khlong San and they're really good, especially the pad thai on the corner of Khlong San Road and Soi 18, which is worth going to in the afternoon.

No flooding in Khlong San.

While not the entire city was underwater, there were numerous flooded areas throughout Bangkok. However, the flooding was not widespread.

Eastern Bangkok tends to experience persistent flooding, whereas Central Bangkok remains relatively dry. Visitors should steer clear of areas with Thai names that hint at wetland environments.

Silom was unaffected, with only ankle-deep sheet flooding observed on Friday night, but most streets were clear by Saturday morning.
